Access to and use of the services of Travel Weddings is subject to acceptance of these terms and conditions.

By accessing, using or obtaining any content, products, or services through our offices or through our website, you as a customer agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions govern the relationship between Travel Weddings and you, the customer. Prior to the exchange of any financials, Travel Weddings requires all customers to review these Terms and Conditions, and if agreed, to authorise.

Confidentiality

During the operation of Travel Weddings both parties may acquire confidential information about the conduct and the affairs of the other party. Both parties must keep all confidential information confidential. Confidential information must not be used other than for purposes of the service/s and must not be disclosed to any third party without the prior consent of the other party.

Suppliers

Travel Weddings recommends suppliers that they have strong relationships with, and we do our utmost to provide a professional service to you. 

Travel Weddings acts as a Sales Agent for any airline, hotel, car-rental company, tour operator, cruise line, or other service provider named in your itinerary or confirmation (“Suppliers”). We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of the Suppliers or their failure to adhere to their own schedules, provide services or refunds, financial default, or failure to honor future trip credits. We have no special knowledge regarding the financial condition of the Suppliers and no liability for recommending a trip credit in lieu of a refund.

Specific booking terms and conditions including payment terms and cancellations will apply in line with a supplier’s booking policies, and these specific booking terms and conditions will be detailed on Travel Weddings client’s quote and booking form.

Travel and/or Services Interruptions

Travel Weddings cannot guarantee there will not be any disruption or cancellation to the recommended services they have offered you due to for example, Covid19, transport delays and weather events as many of these events the jurisdiction would be covered by the supplier, their government and laws. 

It will be highly recommended that each and every person who is part of your party, will obtain personal travel insurance that will identify any coverage and financial loss.

Deposits paid to Travel Weddings will be held in trust until the stated release dates to our suppliers.  These dates will be advised to you.  

Dispute Resolution

Your satisfaction is important so hopefully, this will not even be required.

If a dispute arises out of or relates to our Services or the breach, termination, validity or subject matter thereof, the parties agree to first endeavour to settle the dispute by mediation conducted in accordance with Mediation Rules of the Law Society of Queensland and the President of the Society or the President’s nominee will select the mediator and determine the mediator’s remuneration.

If the dispute has not been settled within 28 days (or such other period as agreed to in writing between the parties) after the appointment of the mediator, the dispute must be submitted to arbitration by an arbitrator nominated by the President of the Law Society of Queensland. Such arbitration will be conducted in accordance with the Rules for the Conduct of Commercial Arbitration’s for the time being of the Institute of Arbitrators, Australia. During such arbitration, both parties may be represented by duly qualified legal practitioners or other experts as reasonably required.

GST

GST means a goods and services tax or any similar tax imposed in Australia.
